Jaap has been active in LED lighting over the past 10 years in executive sales, marketing, M&A and R&D positions, setting-up LED businesses for Philips and Samsung both organic and through large acquisitions. Jaap has have worked in LED packages, modules, lamps and luminaires, in all cases growing the LED lighting business aggressively. He is well aware of market and technology trends in LED lighting on a global scale and has been invited for several key note speeches at leading LED conferences.
